about

I thought about creating compositions purely based off certain moods and colours. I do this very well already, but I wanted to challenge myself to specific colours that also had special meanings.

The first track, 'Amaranthine' is rooted in the Greek words amarantos, meaning "immortal" or "unfading," and anthos, meaning "flower." The word amaranthine emerged as an adjective of the imaginary flower and subsequently of anything possessing its undying quality.
This word is also used to describe a purple/red colour. This colour is seen frequent in the album cover artwork.

The second track 'Aegean' refers mostly to a location called the 'Aegean Sea' and its coasts and islands.
This word is also a colour that looks like a lighter version of navy blue.

These two tracks are very beautiful in design and work great for times of thought.
Enjoy!
